Tin Can Snowperson

Improve fine motor skills, creativity and hand-eye coordination with this fun Tin Can Person 'create and play' activity.

Watch the video, make your snowperson or two ... or ten. Then invent your game!

You can screw up paper to make 'snowballs' and try to knock off the snowperson's hat or see how many tiddly winks you can get into one can.

Why not see who can get a bouncy ball in from furthest away? Or set up a whole row of snowpeople and see who can hit them with a tennis ball ... or just use it as a pencil pot!

Have fun!

Christmas advent gratitude tree

This is a fun way to teach children about gratitude as they count down to Christmas. Make and personalise your tree together and then decorate it with a new ‘thankful’ bauble each day until Christmas.

Teaching children about thankfulness and helping them to establish a regular gratitude practice is a fantastic idea and will enable them to develop positive skills and thought habits to help them as they grow up.

There is a lot of scientific evidence to show the benefits of gratitude on the brain and body. Remembering to be thankful on a regular basis can have a positive impact on our emotional and psychological wellbeing, helping us to manage stress, increase our happiness, and become better equipped to face day-to-day challenges.
